A long-haired man was spotted emerging from a canal drainage opening in Makati City on Tuesday.

Reddit user RoughMasterpiecei uploaded photos Monday showing the individual it identified as a "woman" coming out from a drainage at the corner of V.A. Rufino and Adelantado.

Based on the preliminary findings, Makati City police identified the individual as a male, a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, and a vagrant.

Authorities also determined "that the individual had been using a small portion of the canal as a resting place."

This individual is one of the three unidentified men seen entering the drainage opening on May 26 at 4:16 pm based on the CCTV footage.

With the coordination of the Makati police with the Makati Commercial Estate Association (MaCEA), a metal cover has been installed on the drainage opening "to prevent any recurrence."

In a Facebook post, the Pag-abot Program Reach Out team of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) visited the streets of Rufino and Adelanto to locate the man and provide him with a temporary shelter.
