Re-electionist Senator Bong Go led the National Certificate of Canvass of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) for the 2025 midterm election following the conclusion of canvassing on Thursday.
The National Board of Canvassers (NBOC), led by Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia, concluded the canvassing of the 175 certificates of canvass (COC).
Garcia reported a voter turnout of 81.65 percent from the 2022 presidential elections of 84.2 percent.
Go received 27,121, 073 votes followed by former Senator Bam Aquino, an independent, with 20,971, 899 votes. Akbayan led the party list race with 2,779,621 votes.

It can be recalled that Go and Aquino previously led the partial and unofficial results of the midterm polls.
However, in a Viber message Garcia said that the NCOC is not yet final " and we have to wait for the audited NCOC and the audited NCR (National Canvass Report)".
Earlier Garcia said that the earliest proclamation of the winning senatorial bet is by Saturday.
