Two Japanese nationals were robbed of cash worth 65,000 yen (P26,000) and other belongings in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) on Sunday afternoon.
In a report from the Southern Police District, the two Japanese men were going to a nearby mall when they were stopped between 34th and 35th Street in BGC by two men riding a matte gray Yamaha motorcycle.
The suspects, one of whom carried a handgun, alighted from their motorcycle and threatened the victims before they took their bags, the police report said.
One of the suspects was of medium built, wearing a helmet . The second suspect had black hair, wore a black helmet, black jacket, blue pants, was of medium built, and is approximately five foot four inches in height.
Other belongings stolen from the victims were two phones, an iPad, company IDs, residence IDs, and a Japanese driver's license.
The suspects boarded their parked motorcycle before fleeing.
