Ex-President Rodrigo Duterte, who was supposed to be at a detention facility in The Netherlands after he arrived early Thursday (Philippine time) to face pre-trial at the International Criminal Court, his former executive secretary said Thursday.

In an interview with reporters broadcast over The Big Story, Salvador Medialdea said: '' We were told there is no President Duterte in this facility.''

''We are at a loss at this time,'' he added. Duterte could be in a hospital but the court did not say ''which hospital he was brought to.''

''We assumed that he brought here last night... that is all I say at the moment,'' added Medialdea. DMS
