Presidential sister and re-electionist Senator Imee Marcos managed to enter the top 12 senatorial bets in the last survey released by the Social Weather Station (SWS) on Thursday, four days before the 2025 midterm election.
In the previous SWS survey, Marcos started to drop out of the top 12 in January from 12th - 14th place in December. Her ranking started to improve in April with 13th - 14th place from 16th rank in March before she climbed up to 11th and 12 place this month.
The survey shows that former Senator Ramon Revilla, Jr. and Marcos tied for 11th?12th place with 29 percent each followed by ex-Senator Manny Pacquiao, TV host Willie Revillame, and former Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos, who tied for 13th?15th place with 24 percent votes each.
In a recent interview, political analyst Julio Teehankee said that "it would take a miracle" for Marcos and Las Pinas Rep. Camille Villar to enter the winning circle for this month's poll.
Teehankee said the ranking of Marcos and Villar became unclear when they left the administration slate
The last survey shows that ACT-CIS Partylist Rep. Erwin Tulfo leads the winning circle with 45 percent of intended votes followed by Senator Bong Go with 43 percent, and former Senator Tito Sotto with 37 percent.
Senator Lito Lapid, and broadcaster Ben Tulfo are tied for 4th?5th place with 34 percent each. Former Senator Ping Lacson is in sixth place with 32 percent, followed by Makati Mayor Abby Binay and Senator Ronald Dela Rosa who are tied for 7th?8th place with 31 percent while Villar and Senator Pia Cayetano are also tied for 9th?10th place with 30 percent each.
