President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. called on the construction timeline of the new passenger terminal building at Godofredo P. Ramos Airport in Caticlan, Aklan, to be shortened from 24 months to 18 months.
In his speech at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Passenger Terminal Building of Caticlan Airport, Marcos emphasized the importance of speed, transparency, and accountability in completing the construction of the facility.
The President said the timeline for the terminal’s construction has been placed on his calendar, reinforcing his personal commitment to monitor its progress.
“It is already in my schedule ? 24 months, I am coming to cut the ribbon,” Marcos said, drawing applause from the audience.
“Kung puwede mong gawing 18, I won’t complain,” the President quickly added, which elicited further applause from the crowds.
