President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will hold bilateral talks with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong in Malacanang on Wednesday over health, climate change mitigation, civil service cooperation and other matters.
The Palace announced that Wong will undertake an official visit on June 4 and 5 upon the invitation of Marcos.
"The leaders will also exchange views on political and economic issues of significance to the region," the Palace said in a statement Monday.
The trip will be Wong's first bilateral visit after his reappointment in May. He will be the latest Singaporean Prime Minister to visit the country since Lee Hsien Loong in 2017.
Singapore is the country's eighth largest trading partner in 2024. Around 220,000 Filipinos work there. DMS
