A family of four died in a residential fire that took place at the Bernabe Compound, Pulang Lupa Uno, Las Pinas City Monday morning.
In a phone interview with the Daily Manila Shimbun, Las Pinas Bureau of Fire Inspector Jo Ann Imbo said that the fire began at 1:40am, raised to the first alarm at 1:43am, and was declared fire out at 2:37am.
A 38-year old male, his 35-year old wife, and their two children, aged 17 and 3, were found dead in their two-storey home.
The fire allegedly started at the second floor where the victims were sleeping.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Initial damage was estimated at P600,000.
