A venture capital company of Ayala Corp. has finalized a deal to sell to Mitsubishi Corp. half of the shares it has in GCash, a disclosure at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) said Wednesday.
Ayala said it inked an agreement with Mitsubushi where the Japanese firm subscribes to 18 million common and redeemable preferred shares of its venture capital firm.
AC Ventures has a 13 percent share in Mynt, owner of GCash operator G-XChange Inc.
''On March 31, 2025, Ayala Corporation, AC Ventures Holding Corp. and Mitsubishi Corp. signed the Investment Agreement for MC’s subscription to 18,033,946 common and redeemable preferred shares of ACV for a subscription price of at least P18.4 billion,'' the PSE disclosure said. DMS
