Two persons in a two-storey house were injured after a fire allegedly caused by a plugged cellphone charger in Quezon City on Wednesday.

Victims were identified as Mary Rose Faith Bonalos Legazpi, 33 who sustained minor burns on the right foot, and Edmar Torres, 26, who suffered minor burns on the right cheek and right arm.

The fire razed a residential house located at 258 Quail St., Sitio Veterans, Barangay Bagong Silangan was placed at first alarm at 8:36 pm, put under control by 8:44 pm, and declared fire out by 8:50 pm. Kate Christian Ravelo/DMS
