The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported a minor phreatic eruption lasting for four minutes at Taal Volcano at 8:20 am on Sunday.
This is the second one since Saturday night, Phivolcs said.
The phreatic eruption at the main crater of the volcano produced a 900-meter-tall steam plume of smoke that drifted towards the west, based on the cameras in Barangay Buco, Talisay and Brgy. Barigon, Agoncillo, Batangas.
The Taal Volcano remains under Alert Level 1. Marie Manalili/DMS
