President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday said the 2025 midterm elections will see if the country will move forward.
In his speech during a rally of the administration's senatorial candidates in Iloilo last Thursday, he urged voters to shun candidates, who are involved in the said issues, and instead elect the 12 APBP senatorial candidates, which is backed by his administration.
"Who you will vote [for in the midterm elections] will serve as a guide to where our country will go," he said.
He assured the administration candidates they have a long experience in public service.
"This means they are not here to debate, to just criticize. They are here to find new ways to help our citizens," Marcos said in Filipino.
Marcos began campaigning for the administration candidates on Tuesday in Ilocos Norte. Recent surveys show that up to ten candidates have a good chance to being senators. DMS
