Hidilyn Diaz, the country's first Olympic gold medallist, will marry her coach on July 26 in Baguio City, news reports said Sunday.

Diaz, 31, will wed Julius Naranjo at the Philippine Military Academy.

The wedding date was chosen because this was when weightlifter Diaz won the Philippines' gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics. DMS
