Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has declared the start of dry season on Friday.

State weather forecaster Aldzar Aurelio said the dry season officially begun after the prevailing wind in the country shifts from northeasterly to easterly wind.

PAGASA noted that “the prevailing easterly wind associated with warm and dry condition in most parts of the country signifies the start of the dry season. Robina Asido/DMS
